Why We Don’t Have Same Kind of Hair?

June 3, 2010

Every woman has a dream of having lustrous and healthy hair. Hair catches the attention of everybody. We can completely change our look by changing our hair style. Many of us think why we don’t have same kind of hair. Actually hair is primarily composed of a protein keratin which grows from a sac called the follicle. Hair follicle cells generate keratin and other proteins which become the part of hair shaft. They contain sulphur atoms and when two of these sulphur atoms pair up and bond, they form a disulfide bond. In the same protein, if two sulphur atoms are at a distance and join to form the disulfide bond, the protein will bend. The way protein structures are arranged in each hair shaft effect how hair behaves. The more disulfide bonds that occur between hair proteins, the curlier the hair and vice versa.

Everybody can alter their hair style to force it into a straight state or a curly state with water and heat. But this is only on a temporary basis not permanent. It can be done by breaking the bonds in disulphide chemically. To know more such interesting facts on science and technology, you can find by visiting: www.classontheweb.com

Sweating – Important for Maintaining Body Temperature

May 22, 2010

Sweating plays an important role in maintaining the body temperature by cooling us down. Whenever we are hot, the moisture evaporates and cools us off a bit. This is an essential human survival and it serves as the coolant of body protecting it from overheating. This way, sweating is simply known as natural air conditioning of the human body. Sweating helps to get rid of excess body heat as well as it also provides a way for removing waste products like toxins from Our Body.

The human body produces heat to digest food taken by us and in burning the food produces some heat. Whenever we do exercise, our muscles produce heat. To handle sweat, an individual should take a bath or shower daily. Thereafter, use a deodorant or a deodorant with antiperspirant in a safe manner. Always drink plenty of water everyday for replacing those lost by sweat. If you want to know more about this topic, please visit: www.classontheweb.com.

Why We Should Use Solar System?

May 17, 2010

Solar System is the best source of inspiration for everyone and useful as well. The solar system products are environmental friendly. Moreover, whenever we use Electricity and Gas, we can get an inexpensive front. But we will find that the cost of solar energy is less than the cost of other means of heating, electricity, gas etc. Solar energy is a renewable resource. So we are out of danger of depleting its reserves. It is also non-polluting unlike oil. Its usage doesn’t emit any greenhouse houses. As we know that the energy and heat come from sun is absolutely free. Once we set up solar panels or solar thermal collectors, there will be no extra electrical expenses to power them. But only little maintenance is required. To sum up, we can say that there are numerous advantages of using solar power.
